Florida OIR Data Call Requirements – Wind Mitigation – OIR B1 1802

This rule was enacted in April 1 2026, and insurance companies receiving wind mitigation inspection reports and issue credits on policies in place, must report to the Office of Insurance Regulation within 60 days of the effective date, the mitigation information.

The information must be received through a specific data set, and uploaded into the OIR portal. To assist our clients we have created an AI parsing tool that can be used by agents, inspectors, underwriters, or anyone involved in the process to automatically capture the data submitted on a wind mitigation form, B1 1802, and publish it into an approved data call schema, as required by the OIR.
